Yes it is amazing! I think GOD is the intelligent energy that is the essece of all life. The designer, so far beyond science and religion yet one with both. Beyond language, space and time, formless as well as in millions of forms, in you and me too. Complex cars, airplanes, and space shuttles can't randomly create themselves, and neither can this world. There is a Great engineer behind it. Check this book out The G.O.D. Experiments: How Science Is Discovering God In Everything, Including Us by Gary E. Schwartz and William L. Simon. Great read on that subject

Thanks for the reccomendation - I shall check that out, as it's really something that's been rocking my world view lately. But it does beg the question - what created God though doesn't it?

But maybe also, wouldn't it be equally difficult to not have any life - what would be the point? Non life would be as pointless as life. I'm sure the point of life is to point out it would be pointless without it  - you have to admit, it's a headf*@ker. But shrooms do help to make the appreciation of life so much greater don't ya think? That's why I do them anyway. They connect you to the doorway of something special and transcedental.

If science claims that energy cant be created or destroyed than I guess GOD = pure intelligent super bizzare consciousness energy haha.

Hey 3EW - next time you're in the high place, could you stop by our website. I'm really interested in getting critical reviews from actual shroomers, shrooming and using the site. I hope it can be some sort of shrooming entertainment hub as well as an info site. Last time I tried it, I couldn't get passed the top banner - it was awesome - 3 dimensional and full of movement - I couldn't believe my eyes.

Also I'm really looking for insight into the american shrooming scene. The US are the largest shrooming community in the world, and I really want to tap in that more and generate some interest. If any one can save shrooms, it's the Americans. We badly need your guys help. Anyway I'm also looking for ideas how to keep interest in saving shrooms up, so if you have any ideas, then I'm all ears. That goes for anybody out there reading in.

I enjoyed reading that thread! Questions are so caught up in linguistic dualism... it takes a shroomy to put the obvious beyond words and into a framework of oceanic feeling - a framework of consciousness not reliant on structure, simply experience. I like touching the mystery. (I also like debating it, though it always seems to be so fruitless! :op)

yeah, I know what you mean dusty about fruitlessness - but I think if they stimulate your mind to consider new concepts and create ideas, then actually they have substance.

One thing I've always fealt where evolution is spot on though, is the whole weapon design aspect of nature. Everything is a predator - a weapon designed to kill something else. And as you go up the food chain, so your weaponry improves, until you're at the top and then you are in fact actually deadly - especially to humans. Then look at us - wow what weapons we've made. We couldn't have existed had we not invented the arrow or the knife by sharpening rocks. And then gunpowder and guns came along. (The wars always happened by the way, but they just used more sophisticated weaponry). Life is all about measures and countermeasures.

But for us, what makes this all possible, is our imagination. Our imagination is the biggest weapon of all. After all, how could a nuclear bomb be concieved without it. Just fortunately, there is some space in that brain of ours to put our imagination towards other creative things that don't involve killing. And shrooms certainly play their part in that. They put the most powerful tool in the world at it's highest powerful. Be careful when you shroom people - you are nature's finest. :D
